Mountain Pottery

The Mountain Pottery studio was established in 1987 by Steficia McLean, on a farm she works with her husband Archie. The Mountain Pottery studio is one of the leading Ceramic studios in the Robson Valley area of British Columbia, Canada. The Studio is located roughly midway between Jasper, Alberta, and Prince George, BC, and is surrounded by National and Provincial parks — see map. A visit to the Studio makes an ideal side trip for anyone vacationing in the area who has an interest in fine pottery. Check the Contact page for more details.

Steficia McLean
Steficia studied at Huyghe School of Pottery in Vancouver, and has refined her style through three decades of work and experimentation with a wide range of clays and kilns. She has developed a collection of cone 6 stoneware products praised for both their practical application and their aesthetic beauty. All of Steficia's functional pottery have lead free glazes that are food safe and microwave capable. Each piece has to pass a rigorous inspection before being offered for sale at the studio shop, or on the Internet.
